LOL I had an Alpine a few weeks ago for the first time in years....it's Moose Green re-labeled, or at least close enough I'd stick with Alpine.  I do love me some old man beers.

I'll probably get some Moosehead IPA when I'm in NB next month, last I checked we could only get the green bottle Moosehead here in Ontario.
Picked up some Waterloo Amber today, 6.8% , goes down easy, inexpensive.  What more could you want in a beer?

This current generation have been coddled their whole life and then pushed through the education system during Covid.  Their interpersonal skills and communication is especially appalling.  But the fault can’t be 100% on government, schools, education systems, some of that has got to fall at the feet of parents. 

It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out over the next 10-20 years.  Meanwhile people of my generation will be kings of the castle as we have not only the experience, education, interpersonal skills, and a higher work ethic, but we are also tech savvy.  Seems the only thing we aren’t great at are Tic Tocs and other time sucks.

Well damn....time to go get that medical degree at NYU. If I start failing, I'll just claim that its too hard. We are doomed people....

Guy who services my boat told me his house burned down a couple of weeks ago.  Cause was his 11-yr old daughter's cell phone charger shorting out.  Fire spread so quickly they barely made it out of the house.  Second person i know within the last few months who's house caught fire because of those cheap things.  Friend of mine is a volunteer firefighter and he says that is one of the main causes of house fires that he deals with.  All my chargers are plugged into good quality surge suppressor power bars and are turned off when we are not home.  Electronic stuff is so cheaply made these days.

Bought tickets to go to the CFL Western Conference final on Sunday with my daughter.  She's never been to a Bomber game before, and has been asking to go to a game. I figured what better game to go to first than the game that will enter them into the Grey Cup. 

Plus, you're not truly a Winnipeger until you've been to a Bomber Game in November - and this will be my first cold weather game.
