So while I was gone for a couple of weeks, the team at Clarkson picked up a 2011 135iS to use as a racecar/track car. This means the XKR's going to have to go... the 135 just makes way more sense from a dollars/cents perspective and will likely hold up better to track abuse.

Was in the mall in Wpg and saw a store with an odd name:  Moose Knuckles.

I'm like, really...they called their store moose knuckles...

Wonder what they sell...

I recently learned about this brand too... apparently they're just as expensive/"prestigious" as Canada Goose.

Some people get cold easier so they want a warmer coast. Why is that hard to understand?

As to people moving on from CG, somebody wants to make the next more desirable brand to start a new fad. Fashion is big business.

I got my wife a moose knuckle (MK) coat back in 2018 for Christmas. She's a teacher so spends recesses outdoors and gets cold easily. Her previous Northface coat wasn't cutting it. I looked into getting CG but found the MK when I was shopping. Compared them side by side and found that for comparable lines, the MK were slightly more affordable and built better (I thought they looked nicer too but that's subjective). She loves her MK coat, so much so that the following Christmas she got me one, lol. Don't need it all the time but sure comes in handy for the -20 and colder days while waiting for the GO train (pre-covid). They also came in handy when we went to Carnival in Quebec city were we spent all day and night outdoors in sub -20 weather (this was Feb 2020, just before COVID lockdowns).

They're not cheap, but not overly expensive either. If it's not for you, it's not for you.

Yeah, I agree but I’m also known to keep my house an icebox. I have a North Face parka that I boil in most of the time so it only comes out a couple times every winter, when we’re in the double digits below freezing.

The time I saw the most CG coats was in October at Yorkdale mall ,
I was the apple store getting a screen , all the millennials were wearing them ,
I was in shorts that day  :rofl2:

For sure. I get that their coats are really functional and all.

But when they are asking $250 for a toque they are getting ridiculous and are now just a fashion label.

Honestly I didn't care what they sold...I thought the choice of name was a little...like naming your coffee shop Camel Toe Coffee...maybe a new idea for triplebob...
Or a whorehouse named Clam Chowder...or a robot run strip club called Wall-e and The Beave.  There is no innuendo in Moose Knuckle.
