So my wedding is taking place in the southern US next month... we had it all planned back in 2019 before COVID hit and we had to bump it. The vendors have the vast majority of the money so we opted to just drastically reduce the guest list and go ahead as planned, after bumping it three times. It is what it is, and we're going.
My mom has been saying that as long as the land borders are open, she wants to drive down and not risk outfits/dresses (traditional Indian garb) getting lost in air travel. After the wedding, they were also planning on hitting a bunch of national parks and seeing Moab, Salt Flats, etc... so...
My pops rolled up today with a white '20 Yukon XL Denali with the Ultimate Package, full jam, with 23,000km on it. They've had just one car (the LS460) for a bit so I know they were loosely looking. Says "Happy birthday to me" with a big sh*t-eating grin on his face...
