^^What's the buy-in?   ;D

No strict buy in, but most of us buy in for $100.  We do 1-2 blinds and no limit after that.
We play dealers choice, none of us have the patience for a night of hold em... lol!  games get really messed up later in the night after we've put back a lotta pints... and a lot of split pot high low games.

So uh... sorted out the whole Yukon thing. Got offered a healthy sum more than I paid for it and was able to cleanly part with it. Keys get turned in in a couple of days. Ordered a '21 Denali with the 3.0 diesel engine and the Dark Walnut Brown interior; factory order and a 2 year lease. Arrives at the end of January.

In between, I snagged an insanely clean '99 Jetta TDI with a stick to commute in... will be my press car "leave behind". Was dirt cheap to buy, can easily break even in a couple of months.

Crazy, were you looking to sell the Yukon or more of a deal you couldn't refuse kinda thing?

I guess you just doubled the number of diesels on the forum to 4.  Looking forward to hearing how the 3.0 runs in the Denali.

Deal I couldn't refuse. I knew that when I bought it back in the summer that I was paying so darn little I'd be able to flip out of it and at least break even or make a few bucks. I did the latter, and I'm fairly sure it now has 16,000km on it. That's a ton of "free" driving.

Plus, I was spoiled by reviewing the new design with the independent suspension as well as the air ride... the difference is night and day. And the old K2XX chassis with Magnetic Ride Control was already phenomenal for body on frame.

It was only a matter of time... but the new one will be around for a while.

My day job involves me having to do a TON of driving through rural Ontario regardless of weather... so it's safe to say I'll always need a Yukon-ish thing.

I presume too that the diesel will have significantly more range.

Would that depend on the size of the tank  ;D

Yeah. I mean, my 6.2L could get about 10.5L/100km on the highway, and had a 98L tank. I could get 800+km to a tank without even flinching. I'm fairly sure that the new trucks have a slightly smaller tank (94L) but the diesel is rated at 8.7L/100km.
