Fire continues to burn on day 3 on the USS Bonhomme Richard at Naval Base San Diego

So I bet this is a pricey fire.  It's basically a aircraft carrier for helicopters about the size of a WWII carrier.

It's beyond repair from what I've read.

I've been on a new work project that has me driving way into the depths of northern Ontario (think 600-900km straight up from Toronto) regularly at least once every other week... for the foreseeable future. I was flying, but COVID has put a stop to that.

Been looking for a car as to not destroy the Lexus in the winter... thinking I'm going to get a '20 Yukon Denali this week. They're heavily, heavily discounted, to a point where I could run it for 1-2 years and not lose much money.

A 4 Runner would also be a good choice

4Runner would be a great choice, but fuel efficiency would be substantially worse. I've reviewed a few and done 13-15L/100km all day long. I've regularly gotten 9.5-10L/100km highway easily out of short-wheelbase Yukon, Tahoe, Escalades with the 6.2L and 10-speed.

We just took a Suburban Premier RST 6.2L down to Nashville pre-Covid for my bachelor party, and came back with a 10.9L/100km average.

Wow, this woman have a lot of determination

Google translated :
"Get up and walk!" With my prostheses, it's almost a modern little miracle. And as in many situations, the most difficult is often to leave ... but afterwards, how satisfied we are with having motivated ourselves to move forward!"

She is answering question on her account,
Q."... how many hours of training to get to take your first steps?"
A. "The first steps, it was done in a few hours ... walking well and long enough, it took a few weeks. Getting up without help: it took me 6 years!"

How many hours to reach such level of video montage? No idea but the result is impressive

And I 100% agree, but the '21 models aren't discounted. We're still talking $90,000+ for a new Denali, or at least $80,000+ for a well-equipped non-Denali. The discount I'm getting would more than justify getting the old-shape one and foregoing the diesel.

I actually did a long road trip a couple of weeks ago in a Silverado High Country press truck with the Duramax diesel. It was fantastic - got 8.5-9.5L/100km and is buttery smooth. Problem is, it's not THAT far off a 6.2's mileage.
