So I've been getting all kinds of diagnostic imaging tests of my left kidney, because they spotted a mass late last year.  After my MRI on Thursday, they found the culprit.  I have two left kidneys!  How funny is that?  :rofl2:  My parents used to tell me that I was born with a hole in my kidney, but I never asked any other questions and have never had any kidney function problems or issues.  It's a rare occurrence, but a benign condition.  Nice to have a spare, though.   ;D

Wife also had an extra kidney , but had to have it removed when she around 8 , she had a number of medical problems because of it

I have a 1L bladder (normal is 500-700 ml) which is actually handy for those 5 hour bike rides I've done.
