A long time ago someone posted a link where you could compare different cars and their EPA's and you could enter your drive on a map - and I lost that link.  Anyone remember what it was?  Still have it?

I know this compares fuel economy but not sure about the map thing.

it gives me the creeps just listening to it on the internet.  BTW, this isn't too far from where we go camping in the summer.

Just got a Freestyle Libre blood glucose monitoring system....what a game changer.  I don't plan to wear the patch full-time (likely the 2 week cycle and then use my regular glucometer for 2 weeks).

To be able to see a graph of your blood sugars over time and see the effects of what you are eating is fantastic.  Not to mention giving your fingers a break....

Congrats! I posted about this recently in the diabetic thread.

The nice thing about the sensor is you can find issues in your glucose levels. IE: if you only take finger pricks when you glucose is normal, you will never know when it isn't. Also nice to see what your glucose is doing while you are sleeping.

It really is a game changer but not sure why you would only do two week cycles.

Also check out my comment about the tax break for diabetics.

Geez, I forgot about that thread.

I was planning to rotate two week cycles mostly for cost....I don't take insulin, so for me this is really just an information gathering exercise.

Know somebody that did a day bus trip to Toronto today. Bus left at 4pm to come back and FINALLY got to Cambridge at 7pm. Holy :censor: that is nuts.

* For those that don't know the area, it is only a 100 kms drive.

I remember when my licence was suspended for medical reasons.  I had to take the GO bus from Burlington, to downtown Hamilton where I worked.  It would take just over an 1 hour.  Not rush hour, I worked 2:30 - 11 pm.  The distance was 22km, and I had 2 transfers.  Burlington city bus to the Burlington GO station, about 15 min, train to Aldershot station, another 15 min, then a GO bus to the Hamilton GO, this would take 25 min.  So over 1 hour, and over $10, one way, for 22km.

Consider Public Transit!

So this is perfectly legal, in case you also hate clearing off all those windows on your car.

OK!    That is the sales tax. All you need now is the price of the car.     :) :rofl2:
