My sister had her second (and hopefully last) surgery today to remove her thyroid, which was full of cancer.  Things went really well, and from what I understand, they anticipate that it's been all removed.  She'll start radiation in the next few weeks.  Fack this facking disease!

My aunt had the same surgery a few years ago and she's doing fine.  Hope the same for your sis, Shane.

Yeah, as of now we have no reason to believe that she won't be fine.  But damn I just hate the "C" word.  There probably isn't too many folks on this forum that haven't been affected by it in some way.

Fortunately that treatment has a very high success rate.

If he has any concerns about the radiation PM me, I'm very familiar with the staff and family members safety side of it.

Yup...although, as much as I dislike it, this Trudeau luxury tax over $100,000 may be a good externally imposed budget line. In any case, I'm still in the maybe rough running Boxster territory :)

Remember back in 1991 when Bush Sr. brought in a 10% luxury tax on cars over $30k (amongst other items)? IIRC the tax only applied to the amount paid over $30k. They got rid of that tax completely in 2002.

Watching You Tube car review videos the other day, came across one for what must've been a 1 yr only (2018) US Cruze - a 6 spd manual diesel.  All we get is the auto.  Them now too, at least until it's gone I guess.

Well colour me mauve and call me a turtle!  They sure as hell don't advertise that stuff...no wonder they don't sell any cars.  Thanks!  Too bad the reviewer didn't like it...otherwise I'd be down for one. How can a diesel manual not be good?
