At least you didn’t make a smartazz comment about having the broom and not needing a car...

USGS reporting 5.0 Mag (8:15 pm PDT) by Searles Valley, CA again, but this time it was only a 1.0 km deep. #EarthquakeLA

Then a few minutes afterward, 7.1 Mag 17km NNE of Ridgecrest, CA 0.9 km deep.

This is not good.

The July 4th quake was 10.7 km deep.

Yes, they're calling it a "foreshock".

By chance, I was listening to KFI Los Angeles when the 7.1 hit.  The amount of aftershocks they're experiencing is rather unnerving.  It makes for fascinating radio, however.

Edit: now a 5.7 aftershock during a news conference.

Edit 21:25 PDT: Heavy damage reported in Ridgecrest, CA, near epicenter.

"Another domino falls in Trudeau’s long list of mispolicies. If anything, this failure proves that the Liberals are for the elites, and not for the working class."

Plants that produce trains, streetcars  and subway cars  do tend to have governments as their main customers.
