Heard someone cutting their lawn this afternoon. Didn't see it, could've been an aerator I suppose.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

On the CBC news site, there is a story about flooding in Quebec.  The picture shows a guy carrying a pump, walking through the flood waters, the woman beside him is carrying two cases of beer.

Our parking garage at work was just evacuated due to flooding. Was able to find another spot in another garage that the city has offered to us for free for today only, took a while to get there with all the road closures. Was only 25 minutes late for my meeting after dealing with all of that.

Tim Horton's CEO blames cold weather for the decline in Q1 sales for the chain.

Well, sure, because it's never cold in Canada in the first three months of the year.

Maybe the fact that their food and coffee are crap these days might have something to do with it.

I'm a "make my own" coffee person, but if I am running errands or travelling and use a drive-thru, I prefer McDonald's.  I saw A LOT of people switching to McDonald's for the month of April when any size coffee was $1.  Being able to order via the phone app and have it run out to the car is also really convenient when there is a big lineup.

Yeah. They were so focused on cutting costs, they cut their own throats.

They got rid of everyone over 35 at head office and hired only MBAs. Not joking...
And they moved head office from Oakville to Downtown TO. The new headquarters is located in the Exchange Tower.

I keep hearing a commercial on the radio for The Mufflerman.  It has two women talking and the one says they saved her $48,000. How? She got a new muffler so she didn't have to buy a new car.

WTF?

LOL...I once went in for a $2 T for my washer hose...came home with a new truck.  Where was Muffler Man when I needed them!

anywho...

Day 3 or 4 of the dog having the runs.  Keep him in the garage for night...find piles of pudding between the car and truck.  Have washed the floor 3 days in a row now.   :-X :hurl:  Time to waste money and call the vet! (he seems fine, normal even.  Just massive burbling gassy blowouts of sludge. And sometimes nothing at all...just the burbling and some slimey snotty shi#.  :P)

i bought my pup some dried beef internal organ snacks from Costco.  looked great, but whenever we give her one, her stool/poop would soften a little.  then the other day, after one of these snack, she threw up and had diarrhea for 3 days.  was going to take her to the vet, but gave her some chicken soup with boiled rice(home made, so there's no salt) so she has some good food in her and she got better.

you might want to try that for a day.

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D

We've been giving our dog those freeze dried liver treats from Costco, he seems to love them.  I'll have to watch how many I give as compared to what his output is like, maybe that's why he sometimes has issues.
