Hmmm,

So from the sounds of it, the plane doesn't want to fly straight and level (like I presume the old 737 did), but rather, naturally wants to nose up until it stalls, so software was installed that would help keep the plane level.

yeah, I could see how this would be a bad thing, especially if the software failed.
Something similar happened to Airbus....the plane even crashed during an airshow introduction.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Have to love train travel in Ontario.

VIA Rail - Brantford - Toronto (1 hr trip each way) for two people return.

Coach $198.88
VIA1 $467.82

NOTE: If I book much further ahead I could probably get it down to $113 on coach.

Wonder how much for GO train.

Aldershot - Union = $48 (two people return).

Maybe if I drive a little closer.

Oakville - Union = $36 (two people return)

Guess I'll flip a coin between Oakville or putting up with the traffic/parking and just drive (200 kms return).

For my flight to Barcelona, it was snowing (around 10cm).  And the flight is around 6.  I didn't want my wife to have to drive me (and the kids) to the airport, then drive back with the snow and traffic.  So I took the GO Bus, from the Hamilton GO station to Terminal 1, for $12.  It stops at some car pool lots, and a few others, like Square one.  First time!

No :censor:. Seniors pay 50% what I do. How is that fair? Maybe the pricing should be scaled by age. :)

So I took the GO Bus, from the Hamilton GO station to Terminal 1, for $12.

That is very reasonable and much easier than having somebody drive you. Heck, I'd use that service even on a nice day.

And I paid with cash.  I suspect if I had a Presto card, it would be less.  As for the seniors discount, there is a seniors seniors discount.  Over 80, Presto card is free!  Works in 11 municipalities, my grandfather has it.

I didn't know that. That is actually brilliant. They should make public transit free for anybody over 75 (or 70?) just to get them off the roads.  :P

Maybe if they advertised it once a while.  Who knows ridership might go up!

My apologies.  Just looked at it again.  Looks like Ron is right, just HSR in Hamilton.  Still decent rates for the others I guess.
