I had one of these. In 1985.

Huge relief. Actually did better than expected, but not nearly what I could have gotten a few years ago.

Not sure if I want to go the house route again. Looking at a couple of condos downtown. My commute would be a pedway, and the MTS centre is across the street. Go Jets!  ;D

We'll see, I guess

I'm actually house sitting for him while he's in India.

It's kind of a shame about the cats. I'm pretty sure he won't notice the replacements.  ;D
Go take a dump in the kitty litter box...see if anyone notices THAT!

That looks way too familiar, think we got one as a gift for a college house-mate.

Already went on Kijiji, but thought I would post here as well.  If anyone is interested in selling a 32" LED TV, I am looking for one for the bedroom, not picky.

Was trying to find something on TV.

Saw something in the guide called "Full House Sex".

I obviously clicked on it...only to see the full description of "Full House Sextuplets".

I went from "This should be interesting" to "This is the worst thing ever" in about 2 seconds...

House inspection was yesterday. The inspector wanted the sewer line from the house to the street cleaned, but the house otherwise was 'very well maintained, with no issues'. $100 for the cleaning. Piece of cake.

That was the last condition for the sale. Closing date is March 15th.

Now I've got to find a place.

Or live in SHB's basement.  ;D

Boss!
Question though - Why would the inspector want the sewer line from the house to the street cleaned? Is there history f clogged lines in your area, or age of house?

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

Regina is built on highly expansive clay, and it runs deep. Pipes and basements are an almost continuous problem. It's normal to have the pipes scoped to see what their condition is.

In Fredericton the city will clean the pipe from the house to the street for free.

Talking with co-worker today, his MIL has a 17 year old 4-runner with 700,000+ km on it.  She has a very successful career, but just doesn't give a :censor: about vehicles, so just drives what she has and doesn't want to spend money on a new one.  He's not sure what work has all been done to it, but that's impressive.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.
