I guess KD and I live in a safe place.   :)

Can't believe Hamilton is safer than Halton.  I feel so conflicted.  Since I live in Ancaster now (rather than Burlington), so I am part of the Hamilton township.

Who's this Solstice2006 guy?   :stick:  :rofl2:  Welcome back!!

Thanks Gurgie.  I needed a break from the forum.  But now that I have less to do, my wife is encouraging me to go on the forum more.  But it's hard.  Since I won't be buying any vehicles for awhile, and with people teasing me about Mazda, I just don't know if I can take it!  ;)

You can just tease everyone else... suggest for Chaos to buy a champagne Corolla, watch Rrocket moan & whine about his new FGC purchase, tell Vman that the visibility out of his Camaro sucks... lots of great fun to be had  :rofl2:

I need details.  Rrocket bought an FGC?   I discovered on FB, Vantage got ripped off with an old Lexus purchase.  So I put the 2 and 2 together.  What did Rrocket get?  What else?  Firm sell some Camaro's to make room for Mustangs?

It's like the Young & the Restless here, lol! Rrocket bought Wings ISF for himself and a used Audi TT for IQ, hence the FGC. Firm has another MGB & a Cadillac Deville.

Dude had a good run!  How wonderful to leave such a well-loved legacy of your time on earth.  We should all make such a difference in the lives of strangers, especially by demonstrating that strength and teamwork can be borne of diversity.  Through comics, no less.  Godspeed, Stan!

We have several tvs in the house; one of the digital cable boxes died the other day (they are provided free by Rogers); I went in to the local Rogers place to trade it in for a new one.

The new one has different channel assignments.  So, on most tvs in the house, for example, CBC is 3; on this one, it's 4.  And so on; some are mapped the same, some are not. Some It's not just a matter of some channels being 1 spot higher, they're all over the place.   I'll have to move this one box to the least-used tv in the house, so it doesn't aggravate the others in the household.

Cars are supposed to crumple up.  Trees however are made of a very strong composite material that is not supposed to crumple up!

Just return all the other crappy cable boxes to Rogers, and say they are broken too.  Then you will have all the same ones.
