Did a week of mostly orientation in Winnipeg, then got an offer to work out of the Regina office until the house sells. That was a major relief. Housing market in Regina is slow, and that's being charitable.

Been working with my former co-workers on stuff I'm very familiar with. So far so good.

Pretty neat shark tracker. The one pretty close to where we live, named Luna, is 15 feet long and over 2100 lbs.

That's one huge @ss shark though.

And only a completely different note, I started growing a beard in the last week.......holy sweet jeebus am I getting a lot of grey now.

This might be a short lived thing. lol

I don't mind my gray! Like you (maybe?) I only have gray in my beard so far.

Also, I'm not vain and have embraced my aging, so that probably helps in why I could care less about gray in my beard.

Meh, same here, lotsa gray on my chin, but most of the rest comes in darker, doesn't bother me. Will start to grow the full beard in the next couple weeks, so I'll see. Winter is coming & the extra facial hair keeps me warm on the slopes, lol!

Oh, I don't mind the grey either perse......just surprised how much more has come in since last year. My sides are very grey, and have been for a bit. No grey on the top of my head yet though. I'm kinda like Pauly from the Sopranos.

Grey?? Pff. Been there, done that.

One part of my job (that I hate) is bulletins. We do lots of bulletins. However, there is one thing about these bulletins that never fails to entertain:
My boss (a senior VP) always starts them. He adds a couple of paragraphs with the usual background...reason for the change, alignment with our 4 year strategy, bla bla bla...then sends it to me.
This guy can't write to save his life. Without fail there will be at least a couple of sentences that will short circuit your brain.

Here is a gem from one this morning:

"Recognizing our focus on becoming a more significant focused organization"

I need to put these in a book. He gives me tons of ammo.
