As far as I know, I still have the same number of points in the PCOptimum plan as I did last week.  144,000 points, worth $140.
My diesel car self-identifies as an electric vehicle.

I redeemed around $200 in December, when funds are low...

My PC points from my prescription was just enough the cover my $40 co-payment, so if the accrual rate for the new plan has dropped i will be looking elsewhere for a pharmacy.

So the guys on the grand tour have just scientifically proven that the best CUV between a Alfa Romeo Sugar Substitute, Range Rover Velour and the Porsche Macan is a Ford F150 Raptor. New all those were crap already but now its confirmed lol

That track in BC looks awesome!

Is it just me or is the celebrity segment on this show still terrible? I mean, Paris Hilton on a car show? :run:

Bit off more than I could chew with today's hike in Niagara.  We went from Short Hills PP to Rockway CA to Louth CA, on the Bruce Trail.  10.5 km.  Piece of (slightly difficult) cake on a normal day in the summer.

I brought my snowshoes, as I knew they had some deep snow.  The Bruce in that area is extremely rocky and steep (both ascents and descents) in some sections.  At km 8, my energy level was seriously flagging, and as I finished one stupid-steep ascent over rocks hidden under the snow, my snowshoe got stuck mid-stride and I fell hard on my bad knee, slamming it onto another rock.  :censor:.

Right now it looks like someone pasted half a purple plum on that knee.  I'm very lucky that I didn't smash my kneecap, as I'd have been royally screwed at that point.  We were at least an hour away (walking time) from any form of civilization.

On the bright side, I chose to leave my camera at home today, due to the snow in the forecast (which did happen).  I don't like worrying about it getting wet.  Had I been wearing it when I fell, my $1000 lens would have been toast.

The hike took 4.5 hours to complete, which is nuts, but speaks volumes about the conditions.  Then it took me 2 hours to get home (instead of 50 minutes), thanks to heavy snow and poor road conditions.

Bleah.  Time to relax.

Put your feet up, have a glass of wine.

I spent 4.5 hours on driveways today.  Just finished having chips and beer while watching the Leafs, and changing all 6 doors knobs and hinges in my room.

Watching the Limpics this morning, women’s moguls at the moment.  What’s the lifespan of their knees, about 5 years?

Funny, I had the same thought.  Knee replacement surgery at 35?

My kid has been trying to place in the Gran Turismo thingy where you can win a trip to Toronto with a chance to race for prizes...his last qualification race was today - he made his qualification heat for a chance to compete...and he came in 5th, about a half second behind 4th, and the first of the people to now be disqualified as only the top 4 went through. He had 4th locked up but then got a little out of control and got passed.  He's still pretty happy with himself.  Bet most of those guys are running steering wheel set ups and he just uses the old hand controller.  Would've been cool to get a trip to TO for the Big Race.  He had fun.  ;D

Update: He came in 17th in Canada out of 70+ thousand who entered.  :P Had it not been for his little excursion in the gravel...he'd have gotten a trip.  :'(

I've been getting annoyed with Chrome lately, high memory usage and laggy loading images. Dumped it yesterday and started using Firefox. So far, so good. Would recommend.
