None on our street. Only one house with a light on and a pumpkin ( couple older than us).   There is now a house with kids on the street  but they are "Christians" so they may not approve of Halloween.

We would rather celebrate Nov 5th and go and blow up Queen's Park...far more useful a way to spend an evening!

Not really sure how many we got.  Probably between 30-40.  The dog and I were watching Star Trek in my room.  Left the bowl outside.  Glad Halloween is over.

I guess my spirit ran out as this has been busy Halloween year.  On Sunday we took the kids to a Halloween Party, for adults and kids.  On Monday a friend of my daughters was going to the mall for a Halloween event there.  So I took both my kids to that as well.  By the time Halloween came, I was tired of it!

We got 109 kids.  The last one was cute.  Little Chinese girl, probably 4 years old.  She looked up at me and smiled, I gave her some candy, then she looked at the dog.  So I brought the dog out to the vestibule, she looked at it, then at me.  So I put the dog back in the kitchen, she looked at me again.  Then she looked out at the street where her parents were.  And then she looked at me.  So I said, `BYE!`, and she looked at me.  Then at the door, then at me.  I was wondering if she`d stand there all night, but then she turned around, started down the steps, looked back and said `bye`in this tiny voice.

I`m not sure if she spoke any English or had any clue what was going on.

My dad said he was looking at cars...what car should he get.

I said "Camry".  He's never listened before...has been driving Grand Marquis/Crown Vics since 1979!!

Called me today to say he was at Toyota dealer pricing out a new Camry....almost fell off my chair!!

For those out there with a CPAP machine, when you travel by air, do you carry it on, or check it?

He's making the right choice.  The new Camry is sexy (in the right guise at least).  High 5 him for me.  ;D

Just brought my work truck in for scheduled maintenance and new snow tires.  (Wow, i put more a little under 17k km in just over 6 weeks!  :o)  It's a 2013 (i got it in July 2013) and there's just over 226k km on it now, and other than a few minor things it's been bullet proof reliable.  It has had a few minor issues but mostly related to peripheral stuff like the cheap plastic trim that keeps breaking off.  It's also had the connector for the trailer lights replaced at least three times, but it's an after market commercial type that i don't count as a fault of the truck.

Considering it's a work truck that gets a fair amount of rough usage, including regular off-roading, trailer hauling, etc, I think that's pretty darn good imo.  I'll be looking for a personal truck next spring and will likely search for a good simple F-150 for myself then.

Mine has the 5L as well.  Nothing outstanding about it but reliability is key especially where I work by myself and in remote areas much of the time.  It's also a darn good and comfortable highway cruiser.

My last truck was a 2006 GMC 2500HD with the 6.2L.  It was a tank of a truck, but uncomfortable as hell.  I put a little under 300k km on that before it got sent to auction but it had a misfire issue for the last 30k km, or so that nobody, including the dealer, seemed to be able to figure out.

Ditto, with my limited interaction with it, its her company truck, I did not find anything about it particularly attractive but nothing really offensive as well. Its a white, F150 supercab 4x4, you can't throw a rock without hitting 18 of these trucks around here. I like it because its never let her down and that 5L has decent get up and go....needs a proper exhaust to make it sound like a V8 though  ;D

Wow.  People would be elated here for an early departure.

"as of 2012, the average delay on Tokyo's high-speed bullet train was just 36 seconds."

Incredible.....and extremely efficient.  On a side note, I couldn't get over how efficient the high speed ferries in Greece where with respect how short of time passengers got off and new ones got one.  Within about 5 minutes or so, a few hundred passengers got off the ferry, another few hundred got back on, and the ferry was on it's way.  Thought it was incredible.

Watching the Uteck bowl, for no apparent reason, except that Acadia is in it.

74-0 in the 4th quarter.  Acadia is just slightly out of their depth.  Only a bit.

Was able to run home at lunch today.
To do this:    https://www.autos.ca/forum/index.php?topic=83295.msg1319393#msg1319393

Afterwards, flipped the TV on.  TV is tuned to Muchmusic.
Informer by Snow is playing.
That is now in my head and won't go out.
