I had a fight with Bell Aliant a bit today, my "bundle" termed ended and they wanted to jack up my pricing. I asked for the new customer rate again....to which they replied they can't do that. So I asked if I canceled my service, how long would I have to wait to be a "new customer" again? They just gave me the pricing
$130 + HST for 300 Mbps unlimited, an HD-PVR (they threw in a Food Network channel add-on), and a home phone line with all the calling features and long distance. I'm happy with that deal for the next two years.
My wife's Sirius also auto-renewed last week at $248 per year...I had forgotten to cancel ahead of time. Called and got a full refund, and signed up for 6 months for a total of $47. I can live with that, too.
