On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Too bad they had to sell the stuff once they got to Ottawa( it would have had to be replaced) no cheap area to ride close by in Ottawa , the track in Langford for only a couple KM away

Accepted an offer on my house in Regina yesterday, pending their inspections etc.   So yay!
Nice
But people should do their inspections before they put an offer in, just like the old days

People do what people does.  ;)
But it BS
People put their price in say they want an inspection , than come back to say they want to reduce their price because someone found something , now  you wasted your time  renegotiating

Yup, I totally agree.  Which is why if they come back with we found something in the inspection etc. I'm just going to say no deal.  Take it or leave it.

You were right in that they came back asking for a price reduction because of stuff like "attic could use more insulation".  Yea, no kidding genius the house is 70 years old.

I was also right in that I asked them to go fack themselves.

Company owner called toward the end of the day yesterday. We've won a new long term contract.

:fiver:

Finally got word 9pm on Friday (3 hours before the deadline) that the buyer removed all conditions despite me saying no to their last ask of a reduction in price.  We were hoping they'd let us know earlier in the day, but oh well.  Finding out that late meant driving to Regina Saturday morning, moving a lot of stuff from the house to a storage unit, moving some stuff to Sir O's house and bringing some stuff on the drive back to Winnipeg last night.  So, house is officially sold.

Me tired.
