My folks have a ~20' speedboat type of thing.

Think my Dads is smaller, maybe 16', he used to tow it with the van.  With the boat trailer, maybe 2000-2500lbs.  He didn't want a Tahoe or Suburban?

My dad just traded in his Avalanche for a 2014 Toyota Sequoia platinum. Under 80k km, fully freaking loaded. Gorgeous vehicle.

That was his original plan and he drove a Tahoe, Escalade and Denali....I asked him yesterday if he checked out the Sequoia and he said that he hadn't, few hours later he called me to tell me that he was finishing up the paper work on this thing.   Whatevs

Not enough room for 4 people and their dalmatian.

We bought the Mitsu off of them, I see that as a distinct possibility. I'm sure it will be fine in 10 years  ;D

Saw a perfectly un-handicapped woman pushing the handicap button to get the doors to open at the mall...3 times...still didn't work.  She finally grabbed the handle and opened it like a normal person, and went inside.

I was the one sitting in my truck (waiting for my wife) asking her what the fack she was doing, you idiot!!  Probably a good thing she couldn't hear me.

Not all handicaps are visible.

She wasn't handicapped...not a stumble in her step, no limp, no nothing.  Her handicap was simply "lazy".  She pulled the door open just fine so it's not like she was suffering from tennis elbow.  At least she didn't park in the handicap spot.  (don't get me started on that one...there's a woman in town whose husband died 10 or more years ago...she still uses his handicap tag to get the good spots by the door.  She's not handicapped by any stretch. Grrr...and she's someone we like, but it still irks my shorts.)

Take your blinders off because like I said, not all disabilities are visible. You have no idea if this person has anything wrong with her. NO IDEA! Go spend a few weeks in a cancer clinic and I will show you a lot of people that look healthy but are suffering greatly. You just never know.

And even is she is 100% healthy, who gives a :censor: is she pushes the button to open the door. How does this impact your life when just sitting in a truck judging people?

Are people now saying that non-handicapped (or non-visibly-handicapped) people should NOT be allowed to push the button for the electric doors?

My diesel car self-identifies as an electric vehicle.

No, I think he was just remarking that he thought the person was being lazy. Let's put away the pitchforks, guys. Jesus.

^ yes, that.  Probably a better way to say it (because there always is), and maybe I was judging her, I had time since I was sitting there doing nothing else, and she just kept pressing the button, so perhaps she was insane by definition (doing the same thing over and over and getting the same result - right? So sure, handicapped)...but, quad's had it in for me since snow#@&%! (so forever) so I shouldn't be surprised I guess.  Can't love everybody.  I can live with it.  Seems without trying, I (handicapped or not) push his buttons no matter what I say.

Absolutely. Weakens the arms.  Weakens the spirit.  Weakens the mind.  I did it the other day and I could feel myself getting sucked into the "Easy Button" illness that's everywhere.  If you don't need to, you should never push"the button".

Throwing gas on the fire...

I use those handicap buttons all the time (with my elbow) as a minor guard against the  hygienic practices of the general populace.   Best to avoid grabbing door handles that 1,000's of other slobs have too, when possible...

Maybe she was Howie Mandel's cousin...the germ thing's a good point.  As much as no one here washes their hands after they take a wizz - al you hear is the tap turn on for a quick up/down of the water...I sometimes wish our bathrooms had a button.  But, there's always this way... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLAEg5aTXAE  ;D

Speaking of handicapped people, or not...saw a guy (I wasn't looking...ewww) standing at the urinal in the Bay (I had to go while I was waiting for her to return) and it appeared he was holding willy in one hand while he was texting and/or reading his phone with the other.  FFS...ya can't turn it off for 30 seconds?  So...maybe he's not handicapped, but he's def ambidextrous.

Found a dead fox squirrel at the bottom of our pool on Saturday. At first I thought it was a cat.

I wonder if it was trying to get a drink or just made a wrong turn? Either way he's taken a dirt nap.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.
