I unlocked a car with a key today.  It was weird.

Uhmmm...how else does one get into a car???

Dude, I know you have "Fob" in your name  ;D, but think back to that magical time when you used an actual key to lock and unlock a car door.  No pushing of a button, no blinking lights, none of that.

Ohhhh.....I had a few cars without a "Fob", hell, my old truck had a separate key for the door and ignition.
Lighten up Francis.....

Was chatting with a friend of mine yesterday.  He bought a 2013 Chevy Silverado LTZ with 190,000 kms on it for $12,500.

Brings it home.  His wife takes it for a drive later.  Comes back.

Wife:  I thought you said it had 190,000 kms on it.

My buddy: I did.

Wife:  It has 109,000 kms on it!

He goes out and checks.  Sure enough it was 109,000 kms.  The ad said 190,000, bill of sale said 190,000 so he never actually checked the odometer!

Tried some nasal snuff today.  Apparently, still quite popular in the UK and Euro-land.  It's pretty interesting.  I tried one with some menthol.  Initially, the menthol smell fills/clears your sinuses.  Strong, but not overpowered.  Perhaps like having a jar of Vicks nearby.  After that wore off, just a really pleasant smell of fine tobacco...like smelling a fine cigar.  The effect lasted....maybe 1/2 hour?  I didn't feel any nicotine hit, maybe due to the weaker formulation I tried.  I also tried a plain tobacco version.  Again...a pleasant toasted tobacco smell with a hint of toasty/nuttiness...no sensation of nicotine however.  I'm guessing the lack of nicotine hit is partially due to being accustomed to smoking strong cigars and/or vaping.

Just thought I'd share...

A tire blew on the boat trailer today while cruising down the highway at about 105.  I changed the tire with no issue, then 30 k down the road while filling up, I checked the other tire and could hear air pissing out of it. It was flat within a couple minutes.  :rofl2:

I can laugh now, but wasn't laughing at the time.

My guess is tire age. Had a look at them this morning and they were manufactured in '08, so original to the boat. On the one tire that didn't blow I found a crack between treads. Otherwise tires look to be in good condition.

Lesson learned the hard way, I should have replaced these when I bought the boat this spring.
