Last week I cleared some eaves-trough and it made the sound of water running, he was here within a minute seeing if everything was ok.

I saw a Nova documentary about beavers a few years ago, and learned that they are actually drawn to the sound of running water.  In the wild, they would build a dam right on the running water spot, to raise the water level in their 'hood.

Maybe that's why your eavestroughs were blocked?   :rofl2:

I just had to tell my dog to stop barking at the beaver  who seems to regularly swim by and check us out.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

My dog just ran onto the beach to bark at two young women in bikinis. I had to go retrieve him.

Hey everybody,

Need some help.  Heading to NB in a couple of weeks.  Planning on bring back some beer from our favourite brewer.  In order to bring back as much as possible, looking to keep some luggage in a cargo box.  But I have no crossbars on the Hyundai Entourage.  I have been looking at the wreckers and kijiji no luck.  Trying to keep costs down.  So if anybody has ideas, or links to something affordable please let me know.

For a 2007 Hyundai Entourage Limited.  Same as Kia Sedona.

Thanks

I am wondering if that is their only means of shelter.  Kind of sad if it is.
I seen different RVs at Wally Mart , first time a tent trailer , they were driving a Tiguan, not local since it did not have front plates

OK, so probably just the weekend Walmart camp out.

I remember a few years ago, the BC government was going to increase camping spaces, so I thought they were going to allow Walmart to build in our Provincial Parks.
Yea, people stop and camp out in parking lots on their road trips if there's no campground open/local. It's lighted and probably safe. Maybe safer than a rest stop?  A quick snooze, then continue their trip.

I see people camping out in the RV World parking lot near Detroit...don't imagine any campgrounds near Detroit....not would they roll the dice staying at a rest stop IMO

Used to be Car Talk Canada 'round these parts.
