What's really weird is that it was my second rabbit incident of the day.

I let the dogs out into the yard this morning, and noticed shortly after that they were preoccupied with something in the far corner. So I go to investigate, and see that they have captured a baby bunny.

As much as I hate the things, I didn't really want to see the cute little guy get torn apart by my dogs, so I grabbed them and they let the bunny go. It ran under the fence to safety, then turned around and ran right back at the dogs. WTF? It's like it had a death wish. ???

Not sure if my dogs would have even killed it (seemed more like they were just curious), but still - two bunny suicides in one day? I thought that was just in the cartoons?

It's nuts out my way for that sort of thing.   So much wildlife.  Saw a coyote, racoon, deer on my drive home.  Then a possum and rabbit in my yard.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Thing is, these rabbits aren't "wildlife."

Some facking moron decided it would be fun to let his pet rabbits roam free, so now the town is overrun with them. But I do have coyotes regularly prowling my street, hunting for rabbits.  >:(

Reminds me...some moron in eastern Manitoba raised wild boar and let them go. They have proliferated, apparently after about 20 pounds they have no predators. Hunters can shoot them year 'round.

It has been for years. I've never hunted them myself...although they are only about 45 minutes straight east of my place. Crafty creatures I'm told. A pal of mine hunts them in the US and swears they taste yummy.

Incredible to eat!  But dangerous to hunt.  Which I like.

No, they're just like the one in the Cadbury Egg commercials. But all different colors and the baby ones are even cuter.

I used to fall asleep watching tv, and when my wife would turn it off to go to bed, I'd wake up instantly.  Now she just leaves me there, with the tv on.

In the US, it's Mass Shooting No 299, on this, the 280th day of the year.

Counted 12 deer on the front lawn today. Half grazing the others laying down chewing their cud. ::)

Sounds like they could use more guns. And tax cuts. Always tax cuts.

It's not the mass shootings that kill the most people there. But they sure are a boon for CNN et al
