This is kind of funny.  I couldn't activate our home alarm system when we were on our way out earlier.  I spent a few minutes checking to see if all windows and doors were shut, but it still said no worky.  We were in a hurry to get to some do for my wife's work so I just left it unalarmed.  As soon as we got to the party I noticed this stuck on my key ring. It's the magnetic actuator from my side door that somehow came loose and stuck on the ring.   :rofl2:  That is one strong magnet! I just glued it back into the slot on the door.

Took the rich man's highway yesterday (407) and people driving on there have the worst lane discipline I've ever seen.

Yeah. Everyone also goes by like you're standing still even at 120 km/h...

I personally can't stand the road noise on the 407.

I thought it was just me. That and the 'rocking' from the cuts in the concrete combined with my wheelbase, (kind of) stiff suspension and firm tires. Really started to get to me. Think I'd have to by a quiet cruiser if I drove that all the time.

It's not that, each car get two lanes on the 407.

Never experienced that behavior on the 407...401, 403, 404, 427, 410, and 400 are a different stories.

It is a particular part of the 407 that goes through what is sometimes called affectionately called Wopville.  The cars are more expensive, the speeds are higher and it is just a happy road to drive on.    Approximately from the Airport through to Bayview.

Went to 'Bed Bath & Beyond' yesterday to get items needed by daughter for university residence.  They have lists posted for all the universities in eastern Canada, showing what the residences supply, what size the beds are, and what the students should bring, along with a map to the nearest BB&B store to the campus.  Marketing genius.

In my day, the residence supplied the bedding.  Now, the kids have to bring their own.

I had to bring my own bedding in res back in 2000/2001. I was happy to - I want nothing to do with University supplied sheets. You should have seen what went on in my res room ;-)

It's actually an event Pfaff organizes for their BMW owners. 9 am - 4 pm, breakfast and lunch, professional instructors, slalom and braking excersizes, on track sessions and helmet included. $199
