I was offered a Cruise RS, manual, leather, etc. Told them I'd rather have the 2015 Corolla. So that's what I have.

Take it to the strip for some quarter-mile numbers.   >:D

I'm guessing I could run 18s with it.   :rofl2:
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

So...how is that 'Rolla?  Why no love for the Cruze?

If it was the previous generation Corolla I would have gone with the Cruze.  But maybe he is curious on how the new Corolla is.  As the Cruze is getting long in the tooth.  New one is coming fairly soon...

The 2015 Corolla is surprisingly good so far.  You can read about my first impressions in the "Rental Car" thread :  http://www.autos.ca/forum/index.php?topic=66402.msg1127369#msg1127369

Not a fan of GM.  The taxpayers lost BILLIONS on the bailout and GM's most recent way to thank Canada is to essentially close down the Oshawa plant.  So I refuse to advertise or drive a GM.  GM can eat a dick up.

Went to the Beach's Jazz Festival in Toronto, good time. While driving very slow on the Gardiner I swear 75% of the cars in the HOV did not have 3 people in them.

HOV rules don't apply after 11pm IIRC

Sick and tired of my wife using the van all week, usually only needs 3 days a week, so far it's been 5 days.  Left Shifters.ca a message.  I have taught her some, but can't dedicate the time it deserves as someone has to take car of the kids, and my other duties...

Correct, HOV times are 0500 - 2300 hrs. Only helped on the way home but not going there at 1800 hrs.

Got a call back from Shifters.  She is signed up for 3 sessions (90 min each). August 5th, 6th, and 7th.  The car they use, a Mazda6!  (guess they have good taste!) They have a clutch, brake, and accelerator on both sides of the vehicle.

Am watching this month's premiere of Real Sports. There's a segment on giving trophies to all kids, not just the winners.  Surprise, surprise, psychologists, doctors and educators say it creates delusion and problems later in life. They even had biological brain scans that prove too many rewards causes underdeveloped brains which leads to all kinds of emotional and functional problems.

A must see

The IS300 was like that.  Real metal.  We swapped it out first for a Delrin one and now a leather one.
