Got a couple of photo radar tickets in the mail recently (my wife was driving, but tickets go to the registered owner - me.) Just BS stuff, 11 & 13km/h over, but each ticket was $80.

Spent exactly 26 minutes at the courthouse this morning and got one ticket tossed out and the other reduced to $57. I am happy. :)

I got a ticket in photo radar ticket in Canmore when I was out there over the Christmas holidays.  $110 and not much of an opportunity to fight it.

It was lucky that I had the day off today. Still, it meant that I didn't get to the ski hill until 10:30.  >:(

Had a lengthy meeting with both an architect and construction company about designing my new brewery.  My head was spinning by the end of it with all of the details involved, but marching forward I am!   ;D

True.  And maybe put in some eco friendly green items (solar panels?) and get some gov't kick backs?

Fairly basic 5000 sq/ft building with about a 800-900 sq/ft tap room.

Yeah, for sure.  I told the guy yesterday that all of this (financial commitment, planning, etc) scares the sh!t out of me and that I'm quite nervous.  He said that it's a good thing and that he see way too many people that don't plan and have a "whatever" kind of attitude.

That's great. I've always thought that if I ever build my own office (ad agency studio), I'd add a garage door so I could drive my car right into the workspace...and have a cigar smoking room/scotch lounge, games/theatre room and gym or squash court with showers.

Don't be normal.  :)

If anyone is looking to get a new lawn mower this, and wants to get rid of their old one... I am looking to buy it.  I am looking for a second hand (backup) gas lawn mower.  It must mulch, and no self propelled units.  Please send me a pm, if your interested.

Yes, it's not exactly the right area, but this area gets more views!
