Selling some stereo equipment. Ad says "will not ship". First reply asks will I ship to Quebec.

On another ad the first reply is "What is your lowest price". I just replied back the same price listed but thought about putting a higher number.

:banghead:

selling stuff is a PITA.

my wife is still trying to sell her DJ bike.
ads states NO TRADES.

just about every message is, "trade you for....."

the best one was, "trade you for a big screen TV - brand new"
wife says "my ad says no trades, no thanks"
reply "but I'm an avid cyclist trying to get a good training bike for my daughter"
wife "I'm an avid cyclist trying to sell a bike and doesn't need a TV because I'm busy riding, plus I said no trades"

 :rofl2:

Loved your wife's response.

Selling is a lot of fun but I'm lucky that I"m in no hurry. Just have too much stereo stuff lying around that I'm not using anymore so why not get rid of it.

Didn't know where to post this...

Consumer Reports:

The magazine credits very good road-test performance and solid across-the-board reliability scores for keeping Lexus on top. Mazda was second on the list, while Toyota, Audi and Subaru rounded out the top five.

Nice to see that Mazda is continually moving up the ladder... Very surprised about the Audi placement.... Not surprised about Fiat-Chrysler finishing dead last.... Main reason a Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee is off my list as a tow vehicle...

I like this bit:

"Buick's improved reliability helped it take top honors among all domestic brands for the second year running," CR noted in a blog post. "In addition, it moved up several spots in our overall rankings, even passing Honda."

Having said that, a person doesn't buy a brand, and road tests are interesting from a bench racing perspective, but individual tastes vary. CR is still the one I mostly rely on for reliability information with a few caveats.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

I thought CR knew f*ck all about cars?  Do they rate reliability like the JD Power 3yr rating?

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

They've improved their road test capabilities substantially over the years. They collect their reliability data from CR subscriber surveys.

I still prefer JD Power.  FWIW, Buick is higher (#2) on the 2015 JD Power dependability list. But JD Powers 2015 list reflects the reliability of 3 year old vehicles (which I prefer.)

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

To tell the truth, I have almost no knowledge of the area. Which is a bit exciting.

Yes, an not the brown-noser type.
