Sorry @WestJet @AirCanada @Delta. Your Winnipeg to Phoenix flights were too expensive, inconvenient. Flying @AllegiantTravel Grand Forks, ND to Mesa, AZ this time.

Shoot me now.  Flight at 4:10 leaving Pearson.  It's 8pm I'm sitting on the plane in Ottawa.  Finally home and they can't figure out how to connect the bridge to the plane ....  16 hours

Why does vacation always end on a bad note?  4 hours late then get stuck behind a plow train.  All was perfect till the last flight home.

Wednesday evening, spent 3 hours ripping up old laminate and baseboards in the living room, dining room, hallways, closets (400 sq/ft). Thursday evening, spent 4 hours installing new laminate flooring (with the mitre saw handy on the deck).  Friday took the day off work, spent 5 hours finishing.  Short 1.5 boxes to finish part of  the hallway and closet!  >:(  Had a feeling I would be short after doing the upstairs last year, but didn't want to order more till I knew how many boxes.  I also have to order matching color transition pieces.  Took the old laminate, baseboards, a vanity, toilet, sink, some brick from the fireplace, a few garbage bags.  Ended up being 425 kg (yes metric!) to the dump, cost me $67!  It all fit in the van, and it was sitting a little low!  ;D  Handled fine, no noticeable power loss.  Least the wife was happy, better than flowers!  Happy Valentines day!

This is why 6 million of us live within easy reach of Pearson.  No puddle jumpers to other cities and...slightly better weather.   ;D

Not sure why you would ever want to fly through Pearson.  What a :censor: show that place is.

Gotta be the only airport they require you to go through security on a connecting flight WTF???

CDG is ridiculous.  Damn it's big.

I understand if you change terminals since you have to go outside basically.  But not in the same terminal.

Nope, same terminal.  Makes no sense.

Didn't have to on the way out just on the way back.  After customs that's it, you now have to go through security again.

Very odd.  I didn't think I would as there was exit and connection signs, followed connections and never went outside.  But once you leave customs you are tossed into the baggage area, you have to pick them up and drop them off again.  We didn't have any bags but still had to go that route.

At least they stream line customs with computers now.

But you'll need 2 hours transfer time with customs and security lines, forget running for a flight.
