Last time i was at my sister and bil's house a couple of months ago he mentioned he was going to trade in their Venza this spring for a Highlander. He told me because I had mentioned interest in the past. I probably changed my mind after the first drive...lol. A good reliable choice as you mention, and decent utility, but it's one of the most uninspiring things I've ever driven. Figure if I'm gonna buy something it might as well be something I enjoy driving at least.

Was at Costco yesterday...is there a run on toilet paper? They had NOTHING in stock! Paper towels...arsewipe...Kleenex...all gone. People with carts full of bottled water - ok, one family - but seriously...20 cases? Dude, the tap water here is fine!! (maybe they were from St Pierre, the water is disgusting there...like sticking your head into a geyser and trying not to taste the sulfur.)

BIL has one with the V6, he loves it as a long distance cruiser, perfect for northern Alberta's gravel roads and icy/snowy highways. Not great in town though, wide and hard to see the corners when parking

Has anyone ever checked out North Woods Law on the Discovery Channel? Reality show about game wardens enforcing the law in Maine. If you thought rednecks only existed in the south, some of the residents they have to contend with are priceless.

A pair of guys disappear after announcing they're going "jeeping", and everyone is looking for them. Turns out they got stuck in some mud on an ATV trail overnight, and they were doing their "jeeping" in a Jeep Liberty with bald tires.

Pretty entertaining if you take it with a grain of salt. Either that, or my COVID-19 TV-watching standards have tanked.
