Have a ghost turning on my home theater. Doesn't watch anything, just turns it on to annoy me.

When i lived in a high-rise condo many years ago lightning would trigger my Harman Kardon CD player.  We once woke up to Carmina Burana blasting through the apartment.  Kinda creepy.  :P

Stopped by Pfaff Porsche yesterday... man I have Porsche fever bad...

Facta Non Verba

Action: Porsche fund set up: $2,000 $3,058.19 $5,058.19 $6,058.19 $7,059.36$7,559.36 $10,059.36$12,064.61$10,064.61$11,064.61$12,074.01$14,574.01$15,585.00  $40,585.00  deposited.

Damn. Somebody must have gotten their bonus. You are now within striking range of something in the 2003-2005 range or a 2015 Lexus RC F. Tough choice.

LOL

As much as I like the RC F, my neighbor has one...so no. Plus not special enough if I'm going to blow this money on a toy :)

You're halfway to a slightly used LC500

I'd say that's pretty special!  911's?  I see tons of them around here.  I haven't seen a single LC500.

Yah, LC500 is nice. Recently I've been leaning more towards special "investment grade" type of Porsches...997 GTS, 987 Spyder...but yesterday I was looking at 986 boxsters so I'm all over the place, as usual :)
987 Boxster RS60 would be worth having. I regularly see them for $40k. Well regular as in a few times a year.

The 2008 Boxster Limited Edition in GT3 orange would also be worth having.

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

^^ Agree, that’s a nice Boxster. There was a nice RS60 at Pfaff this summer, silver with the tasty all red interior for low 40s ...
I love it when a plan comes together.

Buyme

Interesting...

That design has held up amazingly well.

But is that a $42,000 car?  Is it FGC or because Porsche: FGC don't apply?  Do like it though.  Might be faster cars (newish 5.0?) but it's not a belly button car, that's for sure.

I got this for the kids for Christmas as they both love basketball.  But I was an idiot and didn't check the dimensions before I purchased it.  It's HUGE, and I'm not sure where it's going in the house as it clearly can't stay in our living room.  lol

Co-worker is marrying an American girl (he went to uni in South Dakota) and I noticed he had a picture of her (and him) on his wall...I think it's funny and cute...

I gotta admit, it kinda made me laugh a little.

???  I don't watch the news...what's happening?

Senior general in Iran's Revolutionary guard's foreign operations (Qud?) was killed by a US drone strike as he left Baghdad airport in the company of a Hezbollah militia commander

I can't help but wonder about Iraq's viability as a state if senior officers of a foreign country can fly into your capitol at will and support armed militias not under government control.

That seemed strange to me as well. Especially as Iran and Iraq have fought a couple of bloody wars in the last years (Since the Shah died)
