I see WestJet pilots voted not to organize. ACPA must be wondering, WTF?

I think it's a bit unique as 90% employees there are also shareholders.

I assume you mean not to organize in a Union?  I find it a little strange that only a few hospitals in Ontario at least, aren't part of a Union. My wife worked for Toronto Sick Kids Hospital for 11 years, unions tried to get in there, but no success.  At her new job in Oakville, she is not enjoying the union dues, along with less flexibility in scheduling.  But the union has her back, I guess...

With such little rain in the last couple of weeks, and the heat wave.  I didn't have to cut any lawns for about 2 weeks.  Made up for it today, by cutting 10 lawns in 5 hours.  I am wiped.  3 more tomorrow morning, then going camping in our new to us camper near Sauble Beach...

What do you suppose happened here? Drugs?

He looked far too healthy to be a drug user, but I guess you never know.  Aneurysm or heart attack are also possibilities, I suppose.  No mention of murder yet, either.
Found in an alleyway , I think murder should be at the top of the list
A report in the Toronto Star said the alleyway was beside their building and he was a sleep walker, might of fall off the balcony in his sleep

Just finished the drive from Quebec City to the Hopewell Rocks in NB. What a drive New Brunswick was! Sunny day, georgous scenery, and awesome roads...it's like all the highways have just been repaved and all bridges rebuilt. This would have been a fantastic drive in a roadster...
I love it when a plan comes together.

Maybe, but I had a Sierra as my first car.  I know this one is special, but it's still a Sierra.

I bought my Sierra Sapphire for about $2K for my first car.  Loved it, but it was a rust bucket by the end.

Didn't even know it was RWD until I ended up facing the other way one night on a wet roundabout.  :rofl2:  From that day on it was drift city!

Looked like this, mine wasn't the Cossie version though:

Couldn't imagine spending $2k on a car like that. When I was young it was all huge American iron for that.

Mrs. Slow Lane and I went out to eat the other day. Restaurant is open from 12 noon to 10 PM. It was about 9:30, when it came time to pay. The waitress walked up with the debit/credit machine. Told her I didn't need it, as I was paying cash. She replied that I was the first customer today that paid by cash. I like being different.
Paying with cash, how do you get cc reward points ?
