I am now. It's def not as nice as Strava. I should email them and ask if they could do a car app...or make sharing optional.  OTOH...I don't use it anyway...

Strava is awesome, especially for my long drives up north.   :)

My wife is flying to Quebec tonight. I think I'll get her to download Strava and keep it running for the whole flight. :)

Did you go into Airplane mode? Was there inflight wifi?

After 24 consecutive months of using 400-800GB of data on a 250GB limit and a record 1000GB in December, Shaw finally decided to give me a call.

I now have Broadband 100 Plus, a grandfathered plan they don't officially offer anymore. 100 Mbps down, 5 Mbps Up, 750 GB of bandwidth. $104/mo. My wife and mother in law loves to binge watch Netflix. They said if I go over once or twice a year, they won't call me again. I was seriously expecting this call well over a year ago.  :rofl2:

Single device, hard wired connection:

Doing the test on two devices at the same time, it's about 105 Mbps.

FYI, Shaw used to have:

Internet 25/250GB $60 <----- What I had
Broadband 50/400GB $80
Broadband 100/500GB $90
Broadband 100 Plus/750GB $95

They increased the prices on January 1 and changed the plans
Internet 25/250GB $67
Internet 60/400GB $90
Internet 120/500GB Coming Soon
Internet 120/750GB Coming Soon

How can you use that much?  Seriously?

I'm a pretty heavy user and even then 100Gig is plenty.  I watch a lot of netflix too at times.

Turn the quality down a little maybe?  Doubt anyone would notice.

Apparently we men can't even grasp the concept of binge watching. But anyway that's not a fight I want to pick. *shrugs* I should turn the quality down, they can't tell between 480p and 1080p.

Yes, there was in flight wifi.....it was AC Rouge so I was suffering. My folks paid for the 4 of us to fly down here though so I can't complain.

Nice. How was the speed of the Wifi? I've heard complaints it can be terrible.

Is Rouge as bad as the reviews suggest?

I got all excited last summer when I found a cheap flight to Europe, then realized it was on Rouge and did some research. Sounded absolutely brutal (especially for tall guys like me.) Decided to suck it up and pay the extra to fly regular Air Canada.

Still haven't been on Rouge, and I'm not about to give it a try any time soon. Flying is painful enough without having to put up with any extra BS. Think I'd rather spend my money on a root canal.

What exactly is AC Rouge?  I've never heard of it?  A new AC affiliated airline?

Its a cut rate AC....but from what Ive heard, if you are a male of average height or taller you will have a really bad time. They fit 10 pounds of potatoes into a 5 pound bag.
Lighten up Francis.....
