Not sure if you're in Montreal or Toronto, in any case it sounds like you ran into a set either being transported for a build or being torn down. Several scifi features are being shot in both cities.

Whoops...well shoot that theory out the window. It seriously looked like a piece of a space capsule we had on one of the shoots.
