I found this odd:"Cruising at 100 km/h, the engine turns at 2,000 rpm, and 120 shows 2,500 on the tach. "My '03 shows a tick over 2000rpm at 120. Maybe the newer ones rev higher so that 3 cylinders can pull it along at higher speeds?

Maybe the newer ones rev higher so that 3 cylinders can pull it along at higher speeds? I know... I thought that seemed a bit high for its cruising speed, so had to check several times. And I believe it was pretty consistent whether in 3- or 6-cylinder mode, although I didn't specifically document whether there were different engine speeds in different engine modes... now I'm curious. But not curious enough to drive this truck again anytime soon. I will check with Honda reps to find out if that is feasible.
