I see season two of Reacher is out Dec 15. Can't wait. This season is based on Book 11 in the series "Bad Luck and Trouble"
Members of Reacher's old squad of MP investigators are being killed off.
Have you been catching new Rick and Morty? I think a subtle teaser was dropped last episode...

Rick and Morty?  ???
I must have wrong person! I think it's Blur911?

Thought it was you who watched!

Sorry!

On the watch list.
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

YouTube rabbit hole...........my wife is hooked on two subtitled Turkish shows  ::)

A soap type series called Bride of Istanbul based on a best selling novel and an historical drama about Osman Bey and the founding of the Ottoman Empire

I did some Googling and apparently Bride of Istanbul is an internet phenomena......who knew?

I find it fascinating to see just how much non English/non North American content there is out there.  Watched a Danish show called Rita   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rita_(TV_series)    a few years ago that was good as was Lillehammer..........    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilyhammer
Old Jag convertible...one itch I won't have to scratch again.

Watched the first episode last night. A bit meh on it so far. Couldn't stand the 100% CGI intro of the bombing of Saint-Malo. It wasn't necessary. I also don't recall the Nazi villain in the book being so comically evil but it's been a few years since I read it.

I'm a big reader and find that TV shows or movies made from books are often a disappointment. I think it's because you have created a look and an environment in your imagination and what's on screen often doesn't live up to it.

The Holiday Shift, a cheesy rom-com Christmas mini-series on Roku/CBS was filmed here in Winnipeg. Not my normal choice for TV viewing but I had to watch since it is my son's small screen debut!

Awesome!

I like how you slowly worked you way into how your son is in the movie. Well done.

It's true. Killers of the Flower Moon was an exception but that's also a true story which may have made the stakes a bit higher. And being Scorsese directed helped too.

Strong Girl Nam-Soon on Netflix. Koreans be crazy but I’m actually enjoying it.

We started watching but found it a bit too goofball, even though we were expecting a fair degree of goofball.  Wife said she might go back and see if it improves.

Fave Korean series is still Extraordinary Attorney Woo.

Started to watch a really compelling murder mystery show on Disney+ called "A Murder at the end of the world" with Clive Owen.  Worth a watch if you have the streaming service.

Watching season 2 of Royal Flying Doctor Service. A bit too much of a soap for me but the Aussie setting makes it interesting from a "look into a different culture" POV.

Fall of the House of Usher. Dark. Macabre. Violent. Carla Gugino is spectacular AF. Not for everyone. But if the concept of Edgar Allen Poe meets Steven King meets Quentin Tarantino appeals to you, you'll probably enjoy it.

Netflix.
We enjoyed it too, wasn’t nearly as scary as we were hoping but definitely worth the watch.  You know who I thought did an amazing acting job in it…old Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill.  I don’t think of him as a versatile actor but he did a great job in this role.

SUPER impressed with Hamill in this series. Serious acting chops.

Just got into this over the last week.  Very well done so far.  We're on episode 5 or so.  Really enjoying it.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Watched the first four episodes of the new season of Bosch Legacy. Enjoyable as always. I wish there were more series like this one – entertaining police procedurals that are not over the top.
