Netflix's  Stranger things.

Its like ET / xfiles.

Surprisingly good.

Yes really enjoyed this series and the 80's vibe.  I think they left it in such a way that there might be more seasons.

This was awesome.  Can't wait for season 2.

Just got an email the other day saying season 2 of Narcos is now available on Netflix.  I enjoyed the first season so I'm looking forward to season 2.

Supposedly it's better than season one. I watched the first episode of season two and it was good.

I'm two episodes in now on Season 2.  LOVE this series!

You'll be happy to hear it has been renewed for two more seasons, which means they will go beyond the Pablo storyline of the first two seasons.

Binged season 2 already. Awesome.

Just started a Norwegian series called "Occupied" on Netflix.  It's in Norwegian with subtitles.  Energy and climate crisis causes international tensions to rise to a breaking point.  So far it's quite intriguing (watched two episodes tonight).  The Russian Embassy in Oslo complained that the series was provoking fears of a "threat from the east."

Finished watching the first season of "The Get Down" - a fictional, fantastic story about the rise of hip-hop, disco, and the roots of house and techno, as well as the dirty underbelly of the music business and club scene. It's smart and gritty full of great vintage footage of NYC and great use of filming locations to capture the decay of 1970s New York.

Mrs. Railton and I just finished the 2nd season of "Shetland" on Netflix.
Great writing, acting and the setting - makes us want to visit the raw beauty of the Scottish isles. So much so that we've started looking into a trip there for 2017.
Highly recommended program. Warning, addictive.

Filming for Paranormal Witness “THE NEBRASKA FIEND” got underway today near Caledon in some spooky barn.
Here's a shot of Kate and her TV family.
Mrs. Railton says that it's catered really well! :lick:

Season 5 episode #7 - "The Nebraska Fiend" is released in Europe now and will be released for North America on Oct 5th. Of course you can check it out on kodi now. ;D

Anyone catch "Quarry?"  I like it so far, but it could go very wrong depending on where they take story.  The 70s vibe is prefect and I love that people look hot and sweaty and tired living in a place that's hot and humid.  Seems that many TV shows and movies miss that little detail - it adds a lot to the look of the show, surprisingly.

Yeah I checked it out and it seems decent. Kind of reminded me of Hap and Leonard which is another '70s-era show that came out recently which is also worth checking out. It stars Michael K. Williams and Christina Hendricks.

Does anybody use an Android box for watching kodi on TV?  Been thinking about it.  Currently have kodi installed on 3 computers and hook it up via HDMI.  But I have been thinking about an Android Box, especially when travelling, when I don't want to take a laptop.

There seem to be soo many.  With some names I have heard of, and others I haven't.  Are the ones from 1-2 years ago, the same as the new ones now?   Any suggestions?

It works pretty good, but I had to reinstall Exodus a couple of time because the date would change to Dec 31 2014 , about 3 times since June

Does that affect things?  Having the wrong date?  Or just a personal preference?
