Would have been awesome to see him in that role.

Absolutely.  Was always a huge Gandolfini fan.  Turturro is doing a pretty damn good job so far though.

I like Turturro.  Just watched a movie with him called The Luzhin Defence..about a mentally unstable chess player.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Really enjoyed the first 5 episodes of The Night Of - props to those who recommended it. I could barely get through episode 6 because of all the legal stuff they got spectacularly wrong, but that's my own hangup and the reason I rarely watch law shows.

Netflix's  Stranger things.

Its like ET / xfiles.

Surprisingly good.

Yes really enjoyed this series and the 80's vibe.  I think they left it in such a way that there might be more seasons.

Ya really good! watched the whole season in 2 nights.  That 80s suspense music is pretty good

Really liking this show. We ended up being lazy and watching the first 4 episodes last night. Bonus points for a great sound track. Crank it up if you have a nice HT. Extra bonus points for great use of the subs! Had my couch shaking in a few scenes.

We had given up on watching the somewhat ridiculous CBS show called "Zoo" last year, but I noticed that one of the episodes this season was called "Caraquet".   Now, Caraquet is a picturesque coastal town in northern New Brunswick near where I grew up.  The episode is set in NB, so I'd have to think they'd at least looked on a map and decided this town's setting would suit their storyline.   So, I decided to have a watch to see if I saw anything familiar

Nope, had nothing to do with it.   First, there seemed to be some weird writer's bet on how many times they could get the actors to say "Caraquet".   The filming was obviously done in BC, mountains and forests with huge trees.   The people spoke english and there appeared to be a large native population and the story-line about the town being isolated and hard to reach had no roots in reality or geography.

They could have set the story about 100km north in the Gaspe Peninsula and been so much more accurate. Why bother having a setting in a real place if it's all total BS?

BTW, the people in the town had built a fence around the town and regularly put people they didn't like outside the fence for the polar bears to eat.

Yeah, I'm enjoying that one as well.  Apparently they had to tone down the crazy $hit that happens there as nobody would believe it.

Yup, quite enjoyed that series. Mrs. Railton also did even though, as you say, hard for you legal types to not bite your lips and let things pass even though it's just TV. Suits was the worst.

Just got an email the other day saying season 2 of Narcos is now available on Netflix.  I enjoyed the first season so I'm looking forward to season 2.

Supposedly it's better than season one. I watched the first episode of season two and it was good.
