I am looking for opinions on which sports sedan people would buy if given the choice with similar options.  I am leaning towards the bmw and have blogged about my purchase ordeal at www.nlcarblog.blogspot.com

Thanks for voting!

Totally depends on what you want. ???

All three are fine choices, although I think you mean C250 Sedan?
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.

If he wants power and reliability he needs to look at a G37. ;)

BMW 328xi      $39,950    230HP
C250 4Matic    $39,990    201HP
A4 Quattro      $39,700    201HP
G37x              $43,450    328HP

While the G is a little over $3k more in price, if you are looking for an AWD Sports Sedan, the 100 extra HP is well worth it IMO.

FWIW, the A4 has 211HP.  And with a re-flash, it will make 235HP and 333TQ.  And the TQ is at a mere 2200RPM.  And it has a much better interior than the G37.  Just being devil's advocate.  :)

does audi a4 have significantly "better" interior than g35?  i missed the autoshow this year, but i recall really liking infiniti's interior out of all japanese lux brands small cars.  audi, no doubt, has great interior but i liked g35's too..   one thing, though, is g37 FEELS heavy.  i suppose my car feels heavy too...

I know it's all subjective, but I definitely gotta disagree with that.  I didn't feel the IS350 interior was anything special whatsoever.  Mind you, I'm comparing 07 MYs with the G....not sure how it's changed since then.

Yes.  And I have no idea why no intake on your G yet.   :stick:

But it can be argued that TQ is more important than HP.  And specifically WHERE in the RPM band it is.  The Gs peak TQ is waaaaayyy up high.  The Audis is waaaaay low.  Which is better for day-to-day driving.  Not to mention you'll have 50+ more TQ in the chipped Audi.

The leather in the IS350 is much nicer and softer than the G37.  And seems to wear better.  But I am not saying the G37 interior is bad or ugly.

The Audis interior is nicer than both. (IMO)

No wear issues here whatsoever!  Completely agree on the Audi interiors being nicer than both.

You have 100K on it yet?  And besides that, you aren't the typical owner.  You interior gets the best of care.

Is there any particular reason why IS 350 did not make the list? Just asking...

Have you tested all of them?

The biggest question is which one comes with a manual transmission, with an automatic transmission, you might as well buy a Sunfire and call her done. Go for an Audi, its by far the best all wheel drive.
Lighten up Francis.....

Having owned an A4 and a 330xi  I'd go for the M-B for a change but only a c300 or c350.   But if I had to choose within the list it would be the A4 now that it is a bit bigger inside...and I'd get an APR chip as I did for mine.
As Fobroader says above it would really have to have a manual transmission or , for me anyway, a DCT.   That might rule out the M-B and I have a suspicion that the G37 AWD is auto only.
