I may be opening up a can of worms here, but... I am 46 years old, and still I fail to understand domestic violence and the people (men or women) who allow it to a) manifest itself in a relationship and b) continue to exist in their lives.  I just don't get it.  For what it's worth, I've known both men and women who were victims of abuse in their spousal relationships.

Man...I had a nutbar for a neighbor in Sudbury for 4 years. I was the guy with the cops in the driveway numerous times after he called 911. Once he took pictures of my wife shoveling the driveway from his truck trying to catch her placing snow on the street so he could call the city and complain. I indicated my displeasure in his behavior and it went downhill fast after that.

Best to deal with it soon T before it escalates.

So, here we are almost a full year since the new neighbor moved in. I've called the cops twice since the last posting to get the guy to turn off his stereo at 3 AM. The music is played  so loud the low frequency vibration comes through the foundation, and that's with 10' between non-linked foundations.
The other night on one of the rare nights he leaves the house he came back drunk, forgot his keys and entered his house through the small basement slider window. In the morning I could see the glass and bits of gasket strewn about. Likely cut himself good getting in. Where do these people come from, especially the ones that can afford to pay $3800 month on rent and yet don't seem to ever leave the house to go to work? IT guys like Mr. Canuck?
The Caddy still has Florida plates on it BTW. Does he not need to change them to use the car?

Try doing some google research.

I'll give you an example - I've been looking at real estate and there is never enough info in the listing - so I google the address looking for another listing with more info.

What I find is the name and phone number of the owner. Then out of curiousity I google the phone number.

What I find is anything on craigslist, court documents, what he does for a living, clubs and associations he belongs to, tax delinquency auctions on his house and on and on. Find out his phone number.

Sometimes the phone number relates to a user name and you can find out forum posts etc. Then guess his password and access his cloud storage and all the pictures he's posted.

Try the address, licence plate, sneak onto his front steps if you see a magazine and get his name and google that.

Slap a magnetic gps on his car and tack him. Rent a drug sniffing dog and see if it alerts on his house. Snap and video him and his visitors and google search the pictures.

Report back when he's arrested. :)

He rents his house, has a super mailbox, does not leave the house (rarely) and has no deliveries. He has a dog but does not walk it. Oh, and he does not cut his lawn.
I could find out who the owners are easily by the tax rolls (not that I've ever done that before :-X) but this guy rents.
Can I trace a Fla license plate and get a hit unlike Canada plates?

In BC you could take a licence number to ICBC and for $5 or something get all the registered owner information. They weren't concerned about selling that for no good reason.

I'm not sure what you could get from a Canadian MV office on a US car. Or whether you could get anything from a US office.

I have googled car registration numbers if dealers post them and find it was sold at auction in Chicago or St. Louis or somewhere far from where it is now.

The phone numbers I googled are all on Vancouver Island and it seems they all opt for listed names and numbers rather than unlisted.

So ymmv.

You think you got it bad?  We had a full patch HA living right across the street from us for nearly a year (this is a nice neighborhood).  Fired up his facking Harley at all hours and shook the whole street.  Got taken down in that big sweep that made the news a few years back.  Flash bang grenades and battering rams pre-dawn.  Highly entertaining.

I have friends that live near some HA.  They say it's great!  No crime, no one f-ing around in the neighborhood...no nothing. 

FWIW my friend who fixed the Lambo tranny?  His uncle is a full patch HA.  We went to Port Dover on Friday the 13th on our sport bikes.  We got to park our sport bikes in the HA guarded paddock.  Was pretty sweet!

Yup.
Hi van was gone this morning when I left at 5:45 AM.
Usually I see TG leaving at the same time but not this AM.
Must remind myself to ask TG to drop by occasionally while we're away to clean out the pool strainer. The gold fish died so he won't get hit-up for that chore this trip. :)
