My new neighbor is the local Staff Sargent for the Highway Sheriff Department, the Crown Vics show up on a regular basis.

Some won't even wave or look at me, must be a function on the mini vans in the driveway  :) The wives like to smile and wave tho.... 8)

So at 4:00 AM this morning (with the wind and snow lashing at the window panes) I woke to what sounded like the clatter of car doors closing and Crown Vic trannys. 
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the shutters, and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow, Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below;
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but seven of Haltons finest in full riot gear.
I dashed to the front door and decsended the front steps to ask the 'not so jolly looking Elf'
"Is there something I should be aware of?
His response "We're investigating a domestic issue".
Oh... ::) :P
The new neighbours continue to be a mystery.
