Very funny!

My 2013 Smart Electric has almost triple the power of the "beta" test car that was listed in the youtube video.

0-60km/h in the city is a reasonable 4.8 seconds.  When I test drove (and bought) yesterday, the car was very responsive in city traffic, and felt "immediate" in terms of throttle response from dead stop to about 70km/h.  I hit 110km/h on a straight and it was around the 11 second mark listed, which is nothing to laugh at for a $23K electric car.

How long can you maintain 110Km/h for?

Long enough to get arrested.  This car is my 20km commute appliance.  The roads I drive on to work are tops 60km/h and most traffic stays well under 80.

But to answer, the Smart Electric would drive about an hour at that speed, which is farther than the trips I've ever taken the the car it replaced (Ford Focus that I only put 40,000km in 10 years).

Took it on a longer trip today (30kms to Whitby) at >100km/h sustained, no problems.  Top speed is reportedly 140km/h in the 2014 model (if the police are lurking, thus the use of 'reportedly')
