The Best Roadtrip Companion?
« on: May 10, 2011, 11:38:51 pm »
...and further to my previous thread about what the best drivers' roads / road trips are, who would be your first choice for a roadtrip companion?

For me, it'd be someone who...

a)  loves cars like I do (ensures good conversation / debates)
b)  enjoys similar / same musical tastes as I do (to avoid fighting over the radio)
c)  is happy to take the road less traveled to see what's there to be seen...
d)  ...but can also drive (or be a happy passenger) when we're trying to "make up time"
e)  has a good sense of humour and patience

Since we were little, my brother and I have spent countless hours and probably hundreds of thousands of kms in the car together and he's probably my first choice due to the reasons above.

Of course, Katrina Bowden could meet none of the criteria above and I'd still kick my little bro out in a second for her.  :)

IQ meets all that criteria.  And she has a nice rack which I never tire of looking at while on roads trips.   ;)

Ditto the above, or a waitress with big :censor: and a slight wardrobe malfunction.

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

Really?  Can think of many others I'd rather have in the passenger seat.

Rrocket. We could thrash on the Regal some more! ;D
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

I wasn't trashing.  I was pointing out facts which, in your blind devotion, you perceived to be trashing.... ;D

Nonsense. I was making very logical, well considered arguments, while you continued to introduce red herrings!  :stick:  :flowers:

Pippa =

Classy
Natural beauty
Ripped physique from an active lifestyle, not model diet from hell scrawny
Royal family relations means I might score a ride in a military heli or maybe even a fighter jet - Imagine saying "my sister in law the HOT QUEEN!"

Hmmm....I wasn't wowed with her bikini pics TBH.

And her being a socialite makes her much, much less attractive IMO.

..ME MYSELF and I.........all others ...well maybe Pippa could be the PIT STOP "GIRL"  ;)................would distract from my back road meanderings and grub stop choices as well as sleeping accomodations(CHEAP AND CHEERFUL...DON'T WANT NO HAMPTON "TURN DOWNS AND EXECUTIVE BREKKIES" barf. but should a "pippa" show up feeling kinda amorous, i could make an exception... :flowers: :shake: well bugger orff then..... Campsites in Summer are just fine ......and out of the way roadside bars...just popping up after you need to slake a thirst.................

damn i'm ready to be in my twenties again..............
Time is to stop everything happening at once

Yeah, to the future King of England, so I don't think she's going to be going on any road trips any time soon, no matter how nicely you ask.  Pippa is single!
