Wow...this is even harder than I thought it would be.

At heart, I'm a doo-wop guy. I'm also a romantic and I'm sentimental. When I hear a song, I have to be able to see myself driving my old '59 Corvette on a warm summer night with that pretty neighbourhood girl beside me.

I'm 52 :).

But my musical taste was ALWAYS older than my age. In jr. high school (1970-73) I used to buy the K-Tel compilation albums with The Crew Cuts, The Diamonds, Huey "Piano" Smith, Dion and the Belmonts, The Vogues, etc.

Strangely enough, I did have a small musical re-awakening with 80's glam rock when I got more into cruising. In the days before mp3 players, I would listen to the AM radio. So, in the early 80's, I developed an affection for early 80's rock.

Great song and in my top 10.  I am a product of the early 1990's.  My favorite is Everlong by Foo Fighters closely followed by The Sweater Song by Weezer.
