I remember seeing the Animals playing at one of our local schools. They had a sort of concert/dance club in the early to mid '60s. Would have been before HOTRS started climbing the hit parade but IIRC they did do the song there.  Would also have been in 1963 I'm pretty sure.   Cost 5/- to get in.
