Worst Song Ever is a category that could get more nominations than I can count.

That's a really, really awful song.

On the other hand, I can't say it's worse than a whole lot of other really, really awful songs!

When we get this out of our systems, we should do a Best Ever Song thread. It'll be interesting to see what we like. It will probably be harder to agree on a good song than a bad song :).

Where to begin here?  The list of crappy songs would be as long as a Toyota Recall list! 

For me, anything by Rhianna (esp. that friggin' Umbrella song)...  or ANYTHING with Autotune in it.

I just remembered this gem in my youtube favorites.

I't not the worst song ever but it might be among the worst videos ever.

The song itself was a major hit for George Jones. Singing it here, Jodi Miller was a great performer with an exceptional voice. But the musical arrangement is awful and the video is jaw-droppingly bizarre,

But a meme does not an arena anthem make; that's why it was so curious when our Buffalo correspondent texted to let us know that during last night's game against Carolina, the Sabres played "Friday" during a break in the action.

The Sabres allow fans on Twitter to nominate and vote for the songs to be played at HSBC Arena. Some clever fans managed to stuff the ballot box and get Rebecca Black on there. It was out of place and a little silly, yes, but I suppose it beats Kernkraft 400 for the billionth time.
