I have not yet owned a sunroof-equipped vehicle.  :hide:

I never used to use mine.

So I'd rather not have it, too much weight up high.

The two piece panoramic roof in the Outback is awesome. Even wide open on the highway, there isn't any buffeting. Best execution of a sunroof I've experienced.

Love mine, even if it is partly broken.  I love to open with tilt on very sunny days and slide fully open at night.

I have to be careful, though; the track on one side is apparently cracked and so using entails some risk although so far there have been no problems.  It's also noisier than it used to be as a result.  The solution for that was to install some door trim around the back rim of the opening in the roof.  That cut the noise way down.

As for it being a deal breaker, I'd have to say no.  I appreciate them but would not break the bank for one.

Yeah, wait til it breaks, not so awesome.   You have to remove everything from the doors up.  The part was only $90USD, (or $200 if buying in Canada), took me 2 days of careful finicky work and I still broke a clip and got some of the headliner dirty.  It works now, but we're too paranoid to use it anymore.   Couldn't imagine how much this repair would be at a dealer.
