Does anyone have any experience with trying to sell photos through such companies as Getty Images, Shutterstock, Crestock, etc.
Just wondering if it's worthwhile or not to try and have the hobby support itself.

I noticed this article on The Online Photographer a while ago, which IIRC may be of interest (so if it isn't what you are interested in, don't blame me!).  :)

If you google T.O.P. for 'stock photos' there are other hits, too.

Lots of effort for little return. The shots have to be very good, which can take a few hours per shot. I have a shutterstock account but haven't had the time to submit anything yet.
