I went over to my neighbor's house to pickup my kids and ended up buying his Honda.

Not a car but went to get a 32" TV a couple of years ago ended up with a 46" HD TV with a new sound system .(5K total) Took it all back the next day after thing about it all night..lol..

Not even if I paid the original asking price.  He had enough troubles with his own little monsters.

Sort of, its how I got the TSX.

First started with much frustration about what car to get.
In said frustration, decided on a sleepless night to get a Mazda 6.
Went to Mazda dealer. The guy was a huge douche to me and my girlfriend (now fiance).
Drove home, stopped by Acura dealer on a whim because it was on the way.
Met a nice sales guy (who I would buy from again). Tested a CSX for no apparent reason.
Noted that TSX had $3500 rebate on it. Went home. Did some research.
Next day test drove TSX. Liked it. Bought it.

Done! Turns out after 73k its a pretty good car.

I went to look at pickups and came home with a Jeep YJ back in 1992. I chose poorly.

....Maybe it was the 5K that scared me off..lol...you can buy the same same package  today for $1300 out the door...Ah electronics,wait 4 months and there out dated..
