It's snowing pretty hard in Ottawa right now.  My son has a snow day from school, so I'm sure he's happy.  The roads were ok at 7:00 this morning, but visibility in the open areas was pretty bad.

I guess lots of people stayed home, the parking lot at work was pretty empty when I got here at 7.  Huge, empty, snow covered parking lot...got to have a few minutes of fun with the stability control turned off...WOOHOO!!!!   ;D

Meh just a normal winter day.  Of course everyone is working from home...  Maybe I'll work from home tomorrow when it is sunny ::)

It just started snowing here.  Current forecast is for 20-30cms.  2011 sure has been a bugger here so far as we've had a storm every almost every week.

My wife's Dad and sister live in Halifax, you guys out east have gotten a crap load of snow this year.  I think it started about 5am  here in Ottawa.  Another one coming your way.  Here's my view from my office this morning.

We sure have, and it's all been since January. Our November and December was a breeze (in terms of snow at least).  I guess we are paying for the extremely easy winter we had last year.

Had to floor it out of the drive this morning, not a huge amount of snow overnight but the wind had really piled it up into drifts!

Hasn't stopped snowing at all in Oakville yet.  Radar shows another big band coming through in a few hours.

Just like most Hollywood movies, Snowmageddon was a huge letdown. Sure the streets are a mess (just like most days after it snows) but where is the quantity?

You are getting hammered out there this year!

It picked up a bit again here, nothing too bad. I think when it is all said and done we will be around the 20CM mark.  Quite a bit off the 30-40 they forcasted

A terrible tragedy happened today. There was snow on the streets of Toronto, CBC reports.

I think we got more snow here this afternoon (after the 'Winter Storm Warning' was called off) then we did last night when we were supposed to get the major dumpage

My driveway agrees with you.
But at least the wind has dropped. I'm just off to shovel it again...third time will be 1 minute after the plough comes through.

Edit:  16:20   About 2-3 cms since 13:00 today

Just saw on the weather channel that we've received 215cms of snow so far this year, not including the current dump we are getting now.  Ugh.  :(

Pff. Peasants.  I'm snowblowing.   ;D

Our driveway is near the end of the street with an 8' fence running beside it, and a tall row of cedar trees on the other side of that fence.  So, the wind likes to deposit a nice deep pile along the driveway... should be a good pile there when i get home...
