I wish the article would of stated some specs.  Pretty hefty price tag though.

The gtr race cars run with the 5.7L v8 from the Titan bot sure if this does but what you think you see is not always what you get.

The 2012 model is such an amazing car for the price!

A couple reviews I've read has said it's got every bit as much character as a ZR-1 or ANY super sports car in the world.  I guess the project manager was a bit pissed with how the first R35 was criticized as being to "video-game" like and devoid of personality.  He said that THIS version of the car is the one he wanted to release initially.

Every review thus far I've read says the car is better in every way from the original.  And the extra power is amazing.

For me, this is a car I aspire to own.  I'll do whatever I can to own a 2012 GT-R someday, since this is about as high up on the supercar wrung I'll be able to likely afford without being in the poor house...

You know, it's not like you need both kidneys...  :rofl2:

Amazing specs, though. 0 - 60 in 2.7 seconds? A Veyron is 15x the price and only does it 0.2 seconds quicker...

The '12 GT-R is now a true supercar.  Sure the previous one was fast and capable, but this one is amazing.  I would not have considered it previously thanks to the Z-06 and ZR-1, but now, wow...

I would certainly agree with your post.  I've always been a big fan of the Z06/ZR1.  My Uncle currently owns an 03 Z06 and it's such a hoot to drive.  Such sheer raw power, and power that can easily get away from you if you are not careful or paying attention.  But this new GT-R is such an amazing vehicle, and I agree with you, it's a true supercar.  While I haven't driven a current Z06, a ZR1, nor a GT-R I can only think that the GT-R would be a little more easy to drive on a daily basis.

I've read that the 2012 GT-R posted 7:20 at Nurburgring, but I am not sure how legit it is.

Supercharged S2000 is faster than an '03 Z06.

But the new gen Z06 OMG!

Crossing fingers Nissan sends me the new GT-R to evaluate!

Fixed!

Seriously though, that car is awesome.  I was never that crazy about the first R35 GT-R, but this one has me more intrigued.  I love the 0-60 on it.

It sounds like a freak'n electric car.  Mash it...and off it goes.

2.7 seconds to 60?  That's nuts.
