Been to Royal DeCameron in Panama, hotel was ok, food options sucked.

Been to the Riu Santa Fe and Riu Palace in Cabo, enjoyed the Palace did not enjoy the Santa Fe, and the beach/ocean is terrible, cannot walk on the beach easily and undertoe is deadly.  Also, I believe the weather is not ideal in Cabo, can get very cold this time of year.

That why I ruled it out

Anyone looking for a cheap package
Royal DeCameron in El Salvador in down to $427 +tax this Monday , foods OK. Rum is good and it is  hot

About 3 months ago.  The lounge is actually worse then the free WIFI.  I sit in the lounge and surf on the Pearson net.   :)

I tried to get a price on some of those trips.  What a scam!

Starts at $100 after taxes for two people $1400.

Then one that was 400 per person came out to 1200.  Then about half the ones I tried didn't even work, or would say that the 100 deal isn't avaialble but here is a 500 version.

Still cheaper than booking far ahead I'm sure but certainly not $67.

The week was great
RIU's are pretty nice places
The Riu Varatta was about 20 min bus ride from the airport

I only reason I can think why there is bad reviews is that the people where there over Xmas and spend big money, we talk to people who paid over $1400 / pp for the week and we paid $1500 all in for 2 people

Nice big and long beach to walk , you can walk over an hour each way
There is a small town about 1/2 walk up the beach, it has a market for the junk stuff,

Went  ziplining  http://vallartainfo.com/tours/canopy/book.php cost was $144USD for 2
They had 14 different lines longs was about 400 meters

Did a day of whale watching http://pegasochartering.com.mx/whale-watching.html

At one time we did have about 5 whale including cafes around the boat and one did breach in front on us
then one surfaced about 5 meters from the boat , it blow hole was huge

We did not make into Puerto Vallata will save that for another trip. people who did make in had a good time
People on the plane stayed in PV and felt safe the whole time

I would go back to the PV area again and stay at the Riu depending on price

I usually use redtag.ca , http://tripcentral.ca/ http://targetvacations.ca/ for seaching pricing  then book with our TD visa travel card website and they do price match

The place we stayed is at $669 + tax(287) next Saturday and I would pick over any place in Cuba( been there 6 x) it will be hotter then Cuba
For that price it is great value

Tangier is a total tourist trap with nothing great to see. Any other city in Morocco (except Casablanca) would be far more interesting and you would not be anywhere near as much harrased to buy stuff as in Tangier, and it's mostly junk stuff there.
Fez, Marrakesh, Essaouira, Agadir are all great places.

Our tour of Morocco was only 8 days, but it was great!
